amiret Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 cihXuZvSlUw Fascinating insights from Tarek Fateh . The bit from 8:40 about Tarek Fateh's interactions with the Indian communist parties is HILARIOUS.

The bit from 8:40 about Tarek Fateh's interactions with the Indian communist parties is HILARIOUS. :haha: Indian leftists are a lost cause. Heard till 12min from start. Agree with him esp. about lack of empathy. But don't agree abt women coz they need to improve too ( for ref. , see how they treat kaam wali bai).
amiret Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 all indians should watch the whole video . @ 35: 30 . "India has not staked it's claim on Gilgit Baltistan aggressively". I agree . thanks to over 60 years of cowardice from Cong and it's many opponents.
Kalia_Test Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Wonder wonderful interview...TFS :two_thumbs_up: He was critical of some aspects of India ( but missed some major ones too IMO...) but loved the way he clearly exposed Pakistan and their hypocrisy... Great visionary leader :hatsoff:

randomGuy Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 He says Indian metro trains and hospitals are better than the ones in Canada rett may have something to say on this.:cantstop:
swatpulla Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 That Salman Khan example was so lame. He sees the minority supporting Salman, but ignored the majority.
zen Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 He says Indian metro trains and hospitals are better than the ones in Canada rett may have something to say on this.:cantstop: ofc, there would be a few hospitals in Ind that would be better than hospitals in Canada. But I wonder what % of Ind's population could afford going to such hospitals .... Also having a few better hospitals does not imply that doctors serving in those hospitals are as good or ethical (which was one of the key points of discussion on that thread iirc) With newer trains in places such as Delhi, I would expect the metro trains to be better. Don't forgot Bombardier is Canadian company .... Though I rarely use Metro, I believe that in Canada there is a lot of scope for upgradation and a lot of investment is expected to take place including having malls (and public areas) at metro stations similar to key metro stations in Europe I have sat in Bullet Trains and the experience is awesome. If Ind is able to introduce such trains for inter-city traveling (backed up by efficient and clean infrastructure - for e.g. no urine flavored air to breathe), more and more people would start using public transport in India, which would also help reduce GHG
amiret Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 very interesting comments on the outrageous class system in India and also on the 4:30 AM Azaan on loudspeakers . surely the muslim community does not need loudspeakers anymore ? SMS calls to prayers should suffice ?
zen Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Another must watch video (which I posted earlier on one of the threads) - CLICK Don't forget your PS this is relatively easier QxvzsOs4asY

Also having a few better hospitals does not imply that doctors serving in those hospitals are as good or ethical (which was one of the key points of discussion on that thread iirc) Agree, affordability factor is a big factor. We need more hospitals, more affordable healthcare etc. Things have improved a little but VAST improvement is needed in this regard. India is doing pretty decent in pharma space. after mylan and teva , Indian co. Sun pharma is world's 3rd largest pharma co. by revenue after acquiring ranbaxy. Their medicines are affordable, soby no. of medicines sold, they maybe no. 1 already. Then there are lupin, Dr reddy's - both in top 15 and many more People from all over the world coem to India for world class n affordable healthcare (medical tourism) Abt ethics, I don't understand that how USA allows Indian docs to practice there if they are not ethical. We have to improve the conditions here in India for doctors to be ideal.
