Nepal seems to have lost form. They are looking nothing like 2014. I really want to see them in IND. Maybe they can somehow get a 4th place and then try and qualify.

They lost too many wickets at the end to pump up their run rate and missed it by a margin of balls. Scotland is the first team to be qualified for India WC. Afghans will blame weather for them finishing third, but they were bruised badly by their loss to Oman. Match against weakest opponent Canada was washed out. PNG lost to Namibia, which means top spot in group A is still open to Namibia, Ireland and PNG. USA got a semi-upset win against HK. And yes, USA is still in contention, they will be through if they can beat PNG and that's tough. Matches up next : Ireland vs Jersey Namibia vs Hong Kong PNG vs USA From Group B, Scotland, Netherlands, Afghanistan and Oman will move to next round. From group A, Namibia and PNG are confirmed. Most likely other two would be Ireland and Hong Kong. But ranking is still up for the grab.

Next matches - Afghanistan vs HK, Namibia vs Netherlands. The winners will qualify. I'm betting on Afghans and the Dutch to win.

They are coming to INDIA PNG finished 4th lol, massive choke. Our plan to deliberately lose two games to liven up a dull group worked perfectly....... Nepal, as I have been saying for months, are just not a good team. In spinning surfaces sure they might do better, but outside Asia they have consistently sucked. Even in Asia they arent great, 2 t20 wins over HK and an at the time disinterested Afghanistan side arent much IMO. When Khadka, as he did here, doesnt show they have absolutely nobody else batting wise. A reality check for them and thats they're last chance at a WC for 4 years now since the next t20 WC isnt till 2020. Rooting for Namibia (who always get close and deserve a WC), PNG,Afghanistan and Oman to qualify. Netherlands are a joke these days relying totally on Saffers and Aussies, hope they fail, but they wont and an actual home grown side like Namibia/PNG will probably miss out.

Thats why the poms could not beat thier associate counterparts. :giggle:
YCCC Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 I've followed the Dutch results since Yorkshire played and got beat by them when they were part of the English domestic one day competition. Shame they're all just Aussies, South Africans, Kiwis and Pakistanis. Just Peter Seelar is born and bred in the Netherlands I think
