Are you trying to say that the ball was not going on to hit the stump? Or are you trying to say that he was struck outside the line. If he is struck in line, and the ball is going on to hit the stump, he's out. Simple, really. Could you explain why you think that it isnt out?

Out ball only needs to pitch in line with the stumps if a right arm bowler is bowling from over the wicket when a right arm bowler is bowling round the wicket, it doesnt matter if it pitches outside the line, as long as the ball hits in line of the wicket and is going on to hit the wicket

if we are gonna expect umpires to constantly get decisions wrong and think thats ok then why do they have an elite panel, anyone can stand there all day giving wrong decisions these people are getting paid extra coz they are supposed to have excellent judgement, but what we saw in the last mach was just pathetic

Thanks MP , that possibly explains why Miandad probably was never given out LBW in Pakistan by your umpires.
