Cricketics
i would call it a "Plumb" the ball hit the pad so low that umpire should just bloody raise his finger.. Link to comment
MundaPakistani
looked as good as the Ganguly one. Link to comment
Donny
Of course, it was a legitimate shout. Once again, the reactions are as if Rudi had the replay. He didn't. Not out. Link to comment

Not out.It doesn'tmatter if he had the replay or not, Donny. If its out, its out. If he'd have given it out, would you have called it a bad decision? Link to comment
MundaPakistani
It doesn'tmatter if he had the replay or not' date=' Donny. If its out, its out. If he'd have given it out, would you have called it a bad decision?[/quote'] LBW rule isn't such a simple rule(unlike the run outs or line calls in tennis). Human interpretation plays(and should play) a huge part in each LBW decision. Link to comment
living
Honestly when I first saw that in real time, my initial reaction was not out. I dunno why :hmmmm: Link to comment

Human interpretation plays(and should play) a huge part in each LBW decision. Are you trying to say that the ball was not going on to hit the stump? Or are you trying to say that he was struck outside the line. If he is struck in line, and the ball is going on to hit the stump, he's out. Simple, really. Could you explain why you think that it isnt out? Link to comment
Donny
It doesn'tmatter if he had the replay or not' date=' Donny.[/quote'] Oh, yes it does. I say that because over 90% of this nonsense is because of TV replays - WHICH THE UMPIRES DON"T HAVE. If he'd have given it out' date=' would you have called it a bad decision?[/quote'] No. Some of you just don't get it, do you ? Link to comment

Donny
Possibly, the funniest statement I've read in this site. Link to comment
kabira
Donny you are really funny. You are saying that umpire should be allowed to make mistakes because in their eyes they are not making mistakes.. WTF, why do they apologize?? Link to comment
Sachinism
Out ball only needs to pitch in line with the stumps if a right arm bowler is bowling from over the wicket when a right arm bowler is bowling round the wicket, it doesnt matter if it pitches outside the line, as long as the ball hits in line of the wicket and is going on to hit the wicket Link to comment
novpj
It was recorded as not out officially but IMO it should have been given. Link to comment

Not out. if we are gonna expect umpires to constantly get decisions wrong and think thats ok then why do they have an elite panel, anyone can stand there all day giving wrong decisions these people are getting paid extra coz they are supposed to have excellent judgement, but what we saw in the last mach was just pathetic Link to comment

The Outsider
If an ICC elite panel umpire needs a replay to see whether that was out, he is a moron and Rudi qualifies for the title. Link to comment
