jf1gp_1 Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Raina? No thanks. He shouldn't be allowed to breathe the the air within a 25 mile radius of a test match So on this track, give a choice you would pick binny over raina ?
kosingh Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 So on this track' date=' give a choice you would pick binny over raina ?[/quote'] There are at least 5 players I would have picked before Raina and Binny, Worst case scenario I would have picked Rayudu. But between Raina and Binny? Yes, I think Binny is the guy

Amongst this squad, I'd have had either Chepu or BK; until now, Binny has justified his selection in the bowling aspect this Test. Batting on the other hand was poor.

Of course Chepu and BK should be ahead of Rayudu. Rayudu I said as a worst case scenario-- as in anyone but Raina or Binny. I do agree that Binny has filled his role as a bowler well here, even if his selection was not totally deserved.

adi B Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Binny does stick to a good line and length,he can do a decent job as a holdingbowler but as a batsman he doesn't inspire any confidence just like jadeja (who is a better wkt taking option in SC)
