He was looking better in the 2nd Test and in the tour match after the 2nd Test he was the only one to score a 100 and then was promptly dropped for Sehwag. He needs to be given more chances along with Rohit, Rahane and Pujara.

He needs to be given more chances along with Rohit' date=' Rahane and Pujara.[/quote'] good example is kohli.. flopped in first 2 tests but kept getting better then got fighting 75 in perth and a hundred in last match mukund was showing guts..and any one who is filling to fight it out normally gets over technical faults ..imho if given proper run he will be super solid for us

He needs to be given more chances along with Rohit' date=' Rahane and Pujara.[/quote'] It is not about runs ,its how he handled the bowlers ,pujara did not score many runs in sa but the confidence with which he played gives me confidence but when i see rahana i fear he will go the route of previous openers.
