How good is he?His batting skills are any good?...can he handle pace bowling?

I was talking about those pitches as opposed to rank turners where even Axar Patel gets small turns.

He is a spinner who does not put revs on the ball all the time but does so at times. He maybe a bit lazy.I always get the feeling that he does not put in enough effort while bowling. Was getting different amounts of turn on the same day on the same pitch in different spells bowled within a space of 2 hours, both with an older ball.

My impression is that he has the ability to do well on sporting pitches atleast ( not sure about absolutely flat pitches ) provided he focuses more on his stock delivery... the simple off spinner... gives more revs on the ball more consistently and uses variations as ...well... variations.Whether he will do this only time will tell, but his tendency is not to stick with one simple thing. That is my biggest worry.

He played for DD in IPL and he is a classical off spinner who relies on flight and deception. Tall guy so gets bounce too.
