G_B_ Posted February 9, 2016 Author Posted February 9, 2016 yeah but his approach was digusting. He plays like this on any pitch. that i will agree with. India were 32/2 and all he needed to do was consolidate. It should have been clear that building a platform was essential. He is experienced enough to judge the pitch and situation.
Adi_91 Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 Honestly, Dhawan hasn't done anything of substance in T20Is. He is getting into trouble faster than I expected and may well be dropped soon.
rkt.india Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 He did well in Australia, so, he has booked his place till T20 WC.
renjith Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 (edited) don't know why its do so hard for selectors to understand dhawan is not a natural t20 player. one shot he played down the ground yesterday was a perfect example of that.unlike rahane he does not have the technique as well to hold one end on situations like yesterday. rahane as well is not a natural hitter of the ball. but if he plays as an opener, it won't hurt the team cause as he can try to hold one end up till 15th over at 100 sr. rahane as well will be a misfit in any position other than opening.
