Irfan Pathan or Binny should be drafted for WCT20

With continuing poor form of Dhawan, it may not be a bad idea to draft Irfan Pathan or Binny to WCT20 squad and make them open. Two advantages

1. We get a swing bowler , if pitches aid swing initially in WC.

2. A 4th pace option if necessary.

Pathan has shown he can open before and make 15-20 runs.Currently he is in reasonably good form based on the T20s he played domestically.

As for Dhawan, well injury is always there.

Stuart Binny should be in the team in place of Harbhajan.  If we have to play a crucial match on a green-top then he can replace Yuvi in the playing 11.

Binny can hit a few big shots and can bat on green-tops as we saw in England. Also. He would be a better bowler than Yuvi if the pitch has grass.

p.s-   Most pitches in the World are expected to be flat but it is better to have an option if we were to find a green-top like the Pune match.

Binny would be a decent option, Harbhajan is unlikely to play, Mishra would be have been ideal.

I wud have considered that option if we have pitches like bangladesh in India 

That wnt happen, they are going to turn and wud be tailor made for ashwin n jadeja and also so yuvraj as bowler cud come in handy

 

But yea if given a choice i wud have loved to have both in Asia cup squad, They would have been handy. Dnt know how would have pathan done but binny on such picthes as a bowler cud have been a match winner

Doesnt look more than 120K, infact 115k

His run up looks like old man jogging, and the pivot and use of body is just so less. Only could be effective on green top. On Flat wkt against attacking line up he would carted around
