Kona Srikar Bharat - Player to watch out

Was Shocked to see so many Wk selected in ROI squad. Honestly, i didnt knew much about Srikar bharat. Did read a few post about him on this forum. 

But yesterday in one of articles read about him and got curious about him. 

22-year-old Srikar Bharat is the first wicketkeeper to make a triple century in the history of the Ranji Trophy, and he is one of the very few cricketers from Andhra Pradesh who have been touted as national team material. Bharat, who has been guided by Andhra captain Mohammad Kaif in his short rise into recognition, is also used to open the innings for his side.

 

I Found videos of him on youtube and i was pretty impressed with him. He looks solid while batting and backs a punch. Looks like someone with solid technique with powerful shots. He was in DD, and released by them this season and at the auction he remained unsold. A gud innigs for ROI can get him a spot in any ipl team at last minute.

Well he  ( Bharat ) will not lucky to play in Irani cup koz their captain is wicket- keeper 

same as patel vs dhoni ( captain )

may be someone score triple in ranji who was keeper, I think 3 day game in India when 2 batsman scored triple century in same innings.is that also Andhra Pradesh match ? ( Ajay sharma debut in that match )

Bharat is one of the two openers selected....so he is almost sure to play.   Otherwise, who will open /

I think his average came down this season. It was 50 a while back.

Another noticeable  thing is......he has a good SR of 59.8    in FC but low SR in List A and T20s.

you  get lot of attacking field and gaps in FC cricket.

He seems to me good player for multi day games but he need to change state from Andhra to Karnataka for better future.

chetan Chauhan's ( opener batsman ) Father went to parliament to complain , "" my son deserve to play for India "" til he changes state,he starts from Delhi and get selected for India ( chetan had remarkable contribution to Indian cricket in the company with Gavaskar )

same of other , Rohit make big from Bombay ,before long ago he represent Rajasthan.Good luck Srikar Bharat on March 6 th onward.

Another  batsman.......Ankit Bawne,  averages 52.3 after 60 FC matches.  He is only 23 years old

I wonder how he is and whether he would have been a better pick than Sheldon Jackson

I have heard some good things about his batting ability.
