Small grounds ll just help WI even more not a secret with fire power they got.. Dude how thick are you? You keep saying the small wankhede ground would help WI more than India. How the hell would they know Ind & WI would reach semis and play each other when the schedule was drawn up some 3 months ago. asterix 1

Leave the match ups, the way the pitch behaved overall was not even worth mentioning. It was a batting paradise by an unreasonable distance that it seemed that all games in Mumbai were Bat vs Bat. I had some expectations from ICC when they said they will be making a sportive pitch and then they gave the "Road" and Mumbai weather gave some moisture to completely destroy bowlers. If this is not worse, I wonder what is.
asterix Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 (edited) ^ I can understand what you are saying... Not utilising the home advantage to become a champion team... Just like Dhoni's CSK using Chennai dust bowl to win as many matches as possible but losing away matches.. But you know what, people will still give more credit to MI for winning IPL even after having home venue as Wankhede and losing most of the home matches... This mentality of customising pitches to suit your style of defensive captaincy and try become a World Champion is not good... If you are not good enough you don't deserve to go to the finals.. India still could've chance to win had they score @ 210.. Overhyped big hitter so who promoted himself played ODI like cricket and ran singles and doubles, failing to hit boundaries when it mattered, was the main reason. But I can understand why ground, venue etc will be blamed, so as to deflect any criticism of the Captain Kool... Edited April 3, 2016 by asterix zen 1
