Selection trials for bowlers

The MCA-IDBI federal insurance Bowling Foundation selected 67 bowlers after conducting it's selection trials.

The selected bowlers will undergo fitness test next week. The foundation selected 45 seamers & 22 spinners from 216 bowlers.

The foundation 's pace bowling coaches are Balwinder Singh Sandhu, Pradeep Kasliwal,Sandeep Dahad & Vishal Mahadik.& spin bowling coach are Ramesh Powar & Kiran Mokashi.

 

I hope this initiative helps in finding new bowlers.

Wasn't Anil Kumble leading some sort of search campaign to unearth spinners a couple of years ago? Or am I just imagining that? Whatever happened to that?

No point unless u have proper system

Parwinder awana n munish ansari came from a fast talent hunt, one never got selected for state side other has become a trundler

 

another biggest loss of talent was harmeet singh the left arm spinner, hvent seen such a spinner in yrs.

I'm skeptical about these Indian bowling camps for juniors. Bowlers who have raw pace and swing (but lack accuracy) are made to abandon pace and swing and just focus on line length. This is how trundlers are made.
