Hope South Africa don't  go on this path of fixed quotas. If they will , it will give enough justification to our Netas to implement caste-based reservation in sports team by citing this example.

Who knows SA may actually choke less

 

SA has some good color players including Amla, Rabada, Tahir, Shami, Viliander, etc. A lot of new players will come up because of the opportunities 

 

Let's not forget that this system is being implemented because colored people suffered a lot of discrimination in the past which hindered their development 

 

However would have liked to see cricketers picked on merit only. But identifying merit itself is subjective to some extent
