sourab10forever Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 I think these are the three best wk-batsmen currently. Hardly any great wk-batsmen who is playing currently. MSD is far gone. Sarfaraz from Pak looks decent.Chandimal is the next best I think(after these 3).. your thoughts? Judge both on keeping as well batting...across formats as well as in individual formats.
Forever Indian Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 Bairstow is a good test bat whereas the other two are good LOI bats so can't compare.
gakgupta Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 Barstow seems to be enjoying his honeymoon period.... otherwise he has lot of holes in his technique......only thing which goes as an advantage is ..... he plays the bowl very late For me Butler is very dangerous ODI batsmen....he can single handedly win the matches for England on his day Cock is learning the art .....he could become the best wicket batsmen for SA in both test and ODIs ..... but lot of things can change Sent from my XT1068 using Tapatalk tweaker 1
maniac Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 Dekock daylight ahead as both batsman and as a keeper ....followed by... Butler> Baristow Baristow will be exposed sooner or later....Butler is already leagues ahead...infact he can be counted already as one of England's ATG in ODI's.....I think he has done ok in the test opportunities so far....As far as keeping goes, don't think there is much to separate the 2. I think England will be fine playing these 2 in the same team on occasions
sparkey Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 Not easy to say but Bairstow honoured over other easily yet he missed World Record yesterday [ He level 19 catches in 3 match series with Ian Healy of Aus ] Rain ruins England/sri Lankan chances too. ECB dropped stuard Broad, Root [ rested ] and Hales for t20i but johnny bairstow included in both ODI and t20 format.
