Mr. Wicket Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Bump? But he was selfish, slow and played only for his average. Shouldn't he be dropped for someone younger? :D
Anakin Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Sitting in shorts at home' date=' having a big mug of chai, spamming away on ICF, and watching GOD do his thing. :D[/quote'] Life can't be better :haha::two_thumbs_up:
The Outsider Posted January 4, 2008 Author Posted January 4, 2008 Bump? But he was selfish, slow and played only for his average. Shouldn't he be dropped for someone younger? :D Ohh how could I have missed Yuseless, but there will be a time and date for that.
Anakin Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Bump? But he was selfish, slow and played only for his average. Shouldn't he be dropped for someone younger? :DCan SRT match that kind of fearless attitude? All SRT's good for is selfish innings. I'd rather take the fearless short innings.
Gambit Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Number 38 was worth the wait. Lovely knock. Fav shot was the upper cut.
Holysmoke Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Its amazing how ICF comes to life the moment SRT does something noteworthy(which usually means India does well, or at least competes hard). Match thread goes crazy, at least 5 of the top 10 threads are about the innings, analyzing, over analyzing.. Fineleg comes up with a counter view-(pessimistic..). Threads are bumped, and I see posters that I've never seen before. Everyone has something to say. Even hibernating posters come back and leave a comment or two. Good stuff. :two_thumbs_up:
SachDan Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 It Really Pays To Be Sachin... He has just now scored a fantastic hundred and put Team India to a position of supremacy yet these Sachin bashers are having a go at him with out any substance... Look at the tail enders he batted with..they all had fine strike rate.He gave them most of the strike and it was done bcoz the field was so scattered that it was impossible for him to score as he wished..had he not given them the strike,we would have been short by atleast 50 runs. So plz...plz lets all celebrate it.
zubinpepsi Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 and how padosi forum goes silent..:haha: I'm loving it...:hysterical:

SachDan Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Biggest Compliment GOD Ever Got!!!! The one from Bradman was special but even more special is the one from the man widely regarded as the best cricket commentator of all time,Richie Benaud. Richie has been connected with cricket for the past 60 years and has seen the likes of Sobers,Graeme Pollock,Viv,Sunny,Lara etc.. Today he said that Sachin Tendulkar is the best bat he ever saw after DB... For me that has to be the best compliment God ever received.
HouMac Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 When did he say that today? I didn't miss a single second while he was commentating. Don't recall him saying that.
zubinpepsi Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 When did he say that today? I didn't miss a single second while he was commentating. Don't recall him saying that. I heard it bein discussed by Harsha, Shastri and Bata Chappal... when Harshs asked chappal abt his views on ,, chappal was gobbling up his words.. his face was full od trash shi.t disappointment..:haha:
SachDan Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 When did he say that today? I didn't miss a single second while he was commentating. Don't recall him saying that. No it was not during commentary.. At SCG they are about to have a sculpture of Richie to be placed..he was talking on that occassion and in India we came to know about it through Harsha.
SachDan Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 I heard it bein discussed by Harsha, Shastri and Bata Chappal... when Harshs asked chappal abt his views on ,, chappal was gobbling up his words.. his face was full od trash shi.t disappointment..:haha: exactly Zubi..chappel was speechless.
SachDan Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 I think richie benaud is a pompous' date=' arrogant, condescending bloke and his commentary sucks.[/quote'] Really? Thank you fror the information!!!!!
SachDan Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 @ sarchasm...Richie has been respected by all cricketers of the past and present for his knowledge about the game of cricket and his words are so measured and up to the point..hence it receives such attention.
