Just making a thread for all the cricketers of ICF who are still playing some form of competitive cricket in the leagues around their place. 

Even if you do not play regular leather ball, season ball cricket, and play tennis ball instead, you can share your stories, moments and how your games are going , stats etc.

 

I will start with talking about my league.  I play in very competitive Washington League in USA.  All the top West indian players who have played for West Indies in recent history play in our league, including past etc. We also get lot of Indian domestic players and Pakistani domestic players. I am a fast bowler(Not Phaasht) who thinks he can bat but still do not get much chance to bat up the order :) 

 

Our league is the most competitive league(debateable) in USA as most players get picked into USA team from our area. 

 

The current Punjab Ranji players like Ravi Inder Singh Mehra(dropped for this season but is in reserves) and former player Sunny Sohal were the ones who dominated the league this year. Also the best bowler was Najaf Shah who is also a leading wicket taker currently in Pakistan's domestic cricket.

USA cricket team does not do that well at international stage but tust me, having played here, I must say that USA has great potential and can seriously beat sides like Ireland etc on regular basis if they can sort their corruption which is in the selection process and in their board members. 

 

USA performances in international cricket isn't the true picture of USA cricket over all. They are better than that and if corruption is sorted here, it can be the best associate nation who can eventually earn the ODI status. 

 

Washington league alone has great performers and there are many more around USA. Club cricket in USA is a big hit.
