MCcricket Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 Dhonis stupid comments have now fooled the public, they want a U19 kid to be a ready-made player, like one would be after playing 10 years of int cricket rubbish, as if spinners mature late n leggies even more at this point you look at basics, flight, turn, accuracy, action speed and temperament, even Warne take a bit of time to learn , and most of his so called variations were just to fool the Brits. Shooters n shooters blah blah. The most variety of a spinner I have seen till date is Ashwin, Warne has a leggie, googly, topspin with seem n of seam.

His right foot pretty much stats parallel to the crease, very side on action. Look at the second clip to that right handed batsman, that is the closest one can get to Shane Warne, drift in and and turns away sharply. Edited January 9, 2017 by rkt.india

Yes he rather bends his body, trunk much more, n he is young n slim, whereas Warne was chubby n strong n used his strong Shoulder n forearms to power n spin the ball.
