Vilander
guys IPL is had nosed business. Afgan players and BD players will sell as novelty but Pak unfortunately because of political situation means risk. Risk of protests, risk of being denied visa etc..good business' take calculated risks and avoid it when the negatives out weigh the positives. Sorry for Tahir guy, but i guess he will get good contracts in other leagues. Link to comment

Tahir was picked in last 3 years despite his Pakistani connection. So has zero correlation for him being not picked and Pakistan roots. Link to comment

Ashwin is no. 1 in the format that matters, tahir is a nobody in tests and isn't fit enough to tie ashcan's laces in the real format of the game, no. 1 t20 spinner is nothing to be proud of lol Link to comment

India does not want Afghan to be our 'strategic depth' we do not want to have a 'narrative' towards an 'end game' in Afganistan, we do not want 'parity' and ' influence' in Afganistan neither do we want Taliban to kill people there or protect our interests, we will just engage any civilian government there and help them as we could, so we mostly get the good variety from them. :) sandeep and Ironhide 2 Link to comment
