Seriously now ... he has to play through whatever injury he has.

 

Should add a third spinner to the line up.

I am not sure they will do that unless Ashwin himself wants to rest.  I am okay with the idea of resting Nair and bring in Jayant who has solid defense.

Also you cannot expect two bowlers reap same rewards when their bowling style is completely different.

Looks like Ashwin had an off day. I think, if he is still fit enough to play, he should play. If we have a turner, we should seriously consider playing 3 spinners and only 1 pacer. As it is, two pacers who don't even bat are overkill. We should replace Sharma with Kuldeep. Ishant Sharma is a useless pile of flesh that has ruined over 70 Tests in my cricket watching lifetime and would hate to see him trot on to a cricket field in any international match. But, unfortunately, because he is LAMBU and he is PHASSSSHHHT, he will likely play.
