BeautifulGame
But interestingly , Most state boards didn't even have clue about the governance reforms and only worried about revenue loss "I told them if the BCCI members had decided to withdraw from the ICC on the basis of the differences on the governance model, the CoA will back them. But not on the finance model. You cannot put Indian cricket at risk." "They just did not know that there was an ICC governance model and a finance model. And the finance model, as far as we are concerned, is crumbs. No wonder it was decided unanimously to send Indian team to CT . Agree very much with COA .It's the Governance model the key.Financial model is nothing.Play a 5 match ODI series and ICC revenue loss is compensated . Also in another news The Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administrators is "optimistic" that it would wrap its job of helping the BCCI and state associations implement the Lodha Committee recommendations by October. The other good thing is BCCI can do as it chooses on governance, revoke MPA maybe. Link to comment

Now he has got a extension for 1 year and probably big massive bonus too. BCCI wont have to invoke MPA. I think something was in place by the time of that SGM meet Link to comment
Malcolm Merlyn
CoA messed up.They thought by getting the team to play CT they will get ICC to negotiate.ICC may have refused so now they want to dump the blame on someone and hence this new drama. If CoA was ready to pull out on governance issues and BCCI on finance issues, pull out regardless. It would have sent a msg to ICC.Because both the finance and governance models were voted and passed. CoA has screwed up. AK007, Vilander and JaFanatic 3 Link to comment

I think something was in place by the time of that SGM meet hmm but the question is why., Rai sound like the C wing guy who is telling folks how things will work now in his way, its pure management talk all that he is saying. But i wonder how, cause COA is short term. It would be a great betrayal is BCCI is forced to accept the governance changes. Georgejed 1 Link to comment
