India said on Monday it had agreed with China on an “expeditious disengagement” of their troops locked in a two-month-long face-off in the disputed Doklam region bordering Bhutan, but Beijing insisted its forces would continue to patrol the disputed region.

MSM doesn't disappoint. It would choose to believe Chinese propaganda over MEA.

Good to keep things ambiguous and allow the Chinese to claim public victory.  What matters more is that the Border forces stay vigilant and enforce the firm stand going forward.  No room to get caught napping on that frontier anymore.  Give them an inch and these guys will seize whatever they can get.  And to be fair, the border is undemarcated.

no wonder China is labelled a paper dragon, for al it's cage rattling around Indian border or South China Sea, it's still hasn't got the balls to go any further except releasing daily comedy shows via Global Times.

China is better to stick to investing billions in other countries to buy friendship

Actually MSM hasnt done bad. From some serious neutral media houses of West, Following has been reported about stand off. Now a lot hasnt been reported by them too as that would be categorised as speculation.

1. Doklam belongs to Bhutan

2. China was negotiating or had allready negotiated a deal with Bhutan where by they were giving twice to 4 times of landmass on eastern border of Bhutan in return of Doklam.

Personal Speculations: I think  the land swap was allmost done or at the closing stages  (thats why probably China started with Doklam is Chinese territory and Bhutan kept Mum for initial few days of standoff)when probably Indian Intel realised it and army was immediately mobilised. Bhutan was probably told that behind the back dealing was not in anyones interest. Comments by Spiritual leader like Dalai Lama and Buddhists hub like Japan just make me believe that Bhutan must have agreed on ground of religion to keep a distance with China. And offcourse, Nepal was also told off by Chinese for not doing enough in convincing Bhutan. So over all it is "Tread with Caution"  situation
