saneindian
Team specific strategies please. No Bhajji and Zak against Pak at any cost, they have rarely performed against Pakistan across formats. maybe pick Chawla Bhajji is a must against the Aussies. Play the 3 spinners vs the Saffers. Lord
has to be Gambhir.still in bad form.was never looking comfortable yesterday.also we hv already 3 grafters in Rohit n Virat.we need a big hitter in Viru. open with Virat n Viru imo Link to comment
vvvslaxman
Please no Chawla based on his outing against England. I am fine with Bhajji. We can drop 1 seamer. Link to comment
vvvslaxman
No chawla plz. He is half tracker specialist. Just go with 2 seamers and 2 specialist spinners considering it is going to be premadasa. use kohli's medium pace in between if required. Irfan and zak would do. Link to comment

Zak has been in terrible form.will pick him.but gotta play 5 bowlers to cover if he goes for runs.Chawla isnt that bad an option on dry surfaces against non-SC teams. playing 4 bowlers doesnt make sense at all.no.7 bat hardly gets to bat.i think they said yesterday.no 7 gets on averages 6-7 balls to ball.surely Pathan n Ashwin can do that Link to comment

vvvslaxman
2nd spinner has to be Chawla.no point playing 2 offies.Bhajji also struggled in warm up game but his half trackers will be dispatched all over. Also Pakistan plays two offies. One part time (who somehow managed to become a top offie) and one regular offie. You can be successful. Link to comment

Pak play a leggie as well.also we hv two conventional offies whereas Ajmal relies on variations.I know Ashwin has a carrom ball, but not quite the same. dont know about half trackers.he didnt bowl any yesterday.also a leggie can pick u wickets too more likely than offie Link to comment
CSK Fan
so by mistake cricinfo counting us as A2 team but we are top in our group :hysterical: i think 2 group's will be SA , IND , WI , NZ/PAK SL , AUS , ENG , PAK/NZ Dude, you are the one making the mistake. We are A2. All the seeds are pre-decided, and group standing wont change anything. Dont you read other posts? So SA, Ind, Aus and Pak are indeed in the same group Link to comment
Lord
pre decided seedings is pathetic.might as well give the trophy to a team ranked no.1 on a specified date Link to comment
kumar713
Will DHONI drop SEHWAG?? Link to comment

JourneyMan
When it comes to leg spin, Amit Mishra could be a good option. I definitely rate him above Piyush and Ojha. Link to comment
jf1gp_1
England doing this to screw us for the rest of the tournament Not that it was intentional but yes yesterday's performance was us having good day eng having a poor day; We still won't make past super 8 Link to comment

Crookbond
In the current group format you can not have it based on group leaders as there are only 3 teams in a group. Link to comment
