Him and Rana are Quality players they score at high S/R with minimal effort.Shaw is good too but abit overhyped.

Don't blame him for making the choice. Mark Chapman will probably do something similar and play for the Kiwis instead of languishing in Hong Kong.  

 

But I'd imagine that the influx of the Pietersens, Morgans, Trotts, Chris Jordans, Rawlins will have a non-trivial impact on the local players' mindset.  Wonder how the fans feel about such players.  

 

Imagine a few years down the road, some Kenyan or South African teenager with fast bowling potential decides to move to Mumbai to pursue further "academics" and sport.  That would be an odd scenario for the fans for sure.  For all the local diversity that India has and handles with admirable inclusiveness, I would think the attitudes towards genuine "outsiders" would not be as open-minded as we would hope.
