Possible options? 1.Kedar Jadhav 2.Manoj Tiwary 3.Robin Uthappa Dark Horse:Yuvraj Singh 2.Replacement of Jadeja at no.7 This is tricky.Because the next World T20 is in India and the Next WC is in England where Jadeja has been very successful. The issue is with the CT which is in Australia in 2017. Also do we have a replacement for Jadeja?Any bowling AR in sight?

Also not comfortable with Raina at 5 .Drop him to no.6 where he can be the power hitter and finisher we need . Need to sort out no.5 and 7

Dhoni is not going to be around, and Dhawan is a long shot (will be 34, for a player of his type - more eyes than technique, that's old). I think Samson should be groomed to be an opener and wicketkeeper. Jadeja must be still persisted with. He is not a "power hitter" in the stupid sense of that word, but he still averages over 30 with the bat with a S/R of over 84 which isn't pathetic by any means. Plus, we are not going to play all our kirkut only on Australian roads. His bowling will come in handy definitely. Rahane MUST BE DROPPED. The guy is nothing but another version of Dinesh Mongia. Flattering only to deceive in the shorter version at least. Mentally timid and reminiscent of the likes of Manjrekar and etc, he's just not cut for international cricket, not international ODI cricket.

Yes then we should go for 7th batsman. But I am afraid the above mentioned options may be taken to cleaners esp in situations like we were in today.
