He was one of the premier singers of South India & there by the entire nation. He passed away on 9th by around 8.00 pm .He was 80 years old. Had till date sung around 10000 songs in various languages & various genres in his sweet bass masculine voice .Having heard 100s of his songs till date & there by a big fan of him , I can assure that he was a complete all round singer and there by a legendary one at that .He has sung in Malayalam,Tamil,Telugu,Kannada, Sanskrit,Hindi & even in Sinhalese too. Folk songs, romantic songs, patriotic songs, sad songs, devotionals , semiclassicals , classicals ..... he has sung them all . A contemporary of the phenomenon KJ.Yesudas , he was a child hood friend of his too . Jayachandran was a big fan of Rafi sir.He is widely regarded as Kerala's 2nd best singer behind the phenomenon K.J.Yesudas .May his soul rest in peace.

Now another promising guy in Jaiswal is getting destroyed and there by the hopes of a quality future ODI team .This is how these incompetent dumb asses always make sure the team doesn't be at the over all quality which is apt of the 'talent pool ' at the nation's disposal ....

Instead hacks & mental midgets like rohit, rahul etc were persisted with .This is how they never allow the team to be at its 'very best '

as a hard core fan , not yet recovered from the 0-3 thrashing at home vs NZL thanks mainly to that shameless f*****g b*****d leech rohit fraud . He needs to be caught hold of his collars and gets his head hit hard on a rock several times and send upwards for ever .... people comparing Sourav with this FTB should check their records more deeply . Sourav averaged a respected 41.56 abroad, that too more or less uniform record in all countries and batting at 6th position . FTB has only 32 average abroad . It is an insult to Sourav comparing this hack to him.
