bring in specialists for test cricket.They should not play any t20 match. Some of them(stroke makers) can play ODIs atmost.Increase the match fees of 'test only' players because of them not playing T20. Once a rookie plays some 30 odd inns and still averages some 30 odd after that , drop him immediately as he is not build for this test format. Try another youngster.No one should be spared. rahul is an example of this selection incompetency.Try this trial and error method till a solid group of 10-15 batsmen for all conditions is emerged. Similar is the case with bowlers too. T20 specialists should never play tests, utmost a few of them can play ODIs.

Even the entire selection process is non sense, let alone coaching . Even the selected/neglected player don't know as to why he is playing/selected .For instance rahul , rohit etc etc don't know as to why they have been in the test team for this much longer .Similarly Sarfaraz Khan,Shres Iyer,Mayank agarwal ,Karun Nair etc etc don't know as to comparatively what wrong they did to be unexpectedly dropped from the team . At the same time , several domestic players with consistent high level performances would be wondering as to what more do they need to get places in the team when compared to consistent non performers like Rahul.

a lot has to do with mental toughness .No doubt about that .That is why this team fails to chase down paltry scores more often than not. When there is pressure the players fail to absorb it . Another problem is selection process for sure. Proven mediocrities are given chances after chances. Specialists for specific formats are missing soooo badly. Batsman 'playing in all formats' would suck in multiple formats at international level unless he is some 'Virat Kohli'.

preparing a spinning pitch and then playing 4 spin bowling all rounders(Kuldeep included).This is as dumb as it can get. Ideally Jadeja should have been played as a specialist bat at 6 followed by WK and then 2 spinners.The first 5 should have been specialist batsmen on a spinning pitch . Again , the ability of batsmen in playing spin has regressed a lot in general . Allowing KL Rahul to still play tests is a selection incompetency in itself . Averaging 36 even after playing 66 tests that too while a lot of promising youngsters are denied of their deserving chances.

the basic theory should be 'winning almost all the tests if not all the tests & there by almost all the series if not all the series at home & then win as much tests and there by series as possible in away series ' . This will ensure the team will always be at the top almost all time .This is exactly what the TM had done in the time period '2012 -2024' . That team had a group of 16-20 players that could ensure this theory. This arrogant eccentric dumb ass has arrived and changed all this .His mad methods cost the '0-3 NZL series result '. This fraud should be thrown out of the TM AEAP .

Hugely disappointed that he retired with out 11000 runs @ 48 average. By far the best LIMITED OVERS FORMAT batsman of this generation.Expected a purple patch of some 20 tests before retiring from tests , but that was not to be.
