Nizar shouldn't have gotten out. Now they have 160 runs to chase with 3 batsman left against a stacked Vidarbha bowling and Harsh Dubey is the head of the snake.

Afghanistan has more heart and talent than Pakistan
Chamsi replied to Ultimate_Game's topic in Cricket Talk
What you are saying, that they don’t have a system in place, doesn’t agree with the results. They won the emerging cup, surely there was a system to get there young guns in order, ready for the senior team. Darwish Rasooli, Allah Ghazanfar, fast bowler Rahmani, they have good talent and all of them play the Shpageeza League and Afghanistan A matches. Please have a look, it is very interesting. -
I think Vidarbha will get to 400 somehow, they've good batting till the last man here.

It is a story for Kerala. So many players are a story and it’s in the name. Sachin and Azhar giving their names to two players on the team. Jalaj Saxena, the veteran. Aditya Sarwate, the multi-bagger. Nidheesh was rated by MI. Rohan Kunnumal showing sparks again. Then the funniest of all funny Malayali names, Eden Apple Tom, but very quick and skiddy. It would be hard not to mention one player from Vidarbha too, Akshay Karnewar, who I can’t wait to see bowling from both hands. And it would be lovely to see Baby atone for all his regretful failures including for RCB in 2016.

Breaking News, Eden Apple Tom bowling 140 km/h peaches -
Vidarbha trolling, shitposting, meming all at once with this batting order.
-
Bowling 140 quicks at 19. Can’t wait to see Eden Apple Tom facing Australians, soon enough.

True, for CT 2017, WC 2016, WC 2019. He played all other ICC events.

T20 xi:Conundrum..How to balance Bowling Penetration with Batting Depth!
Chamsi replied to Need4Speed's topic in Cricket Talk
Jadeja and Axar are two genuine spinners. On flat pitches, these ‘mystery’ and chinaman will be exposed. Look at the IPL and WC, how Klaasen smacked Varun and Kuldeep. 4 fast bowlers can keep things tight in all conditions and are better fielders, which is the most important part. Only one team is playing 4 fast bowlers, SA. Look how beautifully they bowled out Afghanistan. -

I'm saying keep Hardik as 4th pacer and tail from 9-11. -
Yes...you are very respected, eggsperienced member of the forum.

Technically, we never won a title with Shami in the squad. Kind of like KL Rahul.

One time, people say player worship has to stop. Then, people say youngsters should play. Then, ICT doesn't play youngsters and the has-beens do well on a nothing pitch. People worship the has-beens again! The has-beens get exposed in a KO against SENA and the cycle repeats.

T20 xi:Conundrum..How to balance Bowling Penetration with Batting Depth!
Chamsi replied to Need4Speed's topic in Cricket Talk
You can’t choose Number 9, 10, 11 players based on batting ability, instead bowing and fielding ability is important. That is why 3 fast bowlers are needed because they can bowl in all conditions and field as good as if not better than the ‘mystery spinners’. In batting, all of them do lapebaazi, because batting is not their main focus. -
T20 xi:Conundrum..How to balance Bowling Penetration with Batting Depth!

If Bumrah is back, I don't see why they cannot play three fast bowlers, Harshit, Arshdeep, and Bumrah. On flat tracks, the spinners will see the ball smashed everywhere. That's where the fast bowlers can use change of pace and yorkers. Peak batting depth, penetration but also more fielding ability than Kuldeep and VC. Fielding has to be considered. -
Kuldeep Yadav, Shami, Rohit are not even of the fielders they have to be for us to compete with Aus or NZ in the CT in the fielding department: to take athletic, diving catches like Travis Head, Ramandeep Singh, or Jadeja. Every player on the team should be fit and strong enough to put their body on the line on the field, not play football near the boundary cushions. I hope India's fielding is rightly exposed during this tournament.

Speeds and Performances of Pacers and Spinners

KD was the highest wicket taker today, but I agree with your assessments. He won’t be successful against Klaasen and Miller types. Arshdeep has racked up good pace in the Eng ODI’s, better than mistry spinners and chinamen. -
Precisely, Rinku-Riyan-Nitish-Jurel should be a core for all formats. Should’ve since 2023. KL Rahul should sit on the bench, because part-time wicketkeepers should also be part-time in the squad.

ICC Champions Trophy 2025 - General Discussion and Points Table
Chamsi replied to Austin 3:!6's topic in Cricket Talk
Dhruv Jurel has been robbed in the longer formats several times now. He has a high ceiling. -
This is very interesting, because there is uncertainty around how the pitch in Dubai will behave. Going with Harshit Rana instead of picking one of the two spinners, who are very out-of-it right now, can be a very strategic option even if the pitch is slow. Hardik and Harshit actually have good numbers on slow pitches in the IPL, bowling their cutters and slow bouncers. Only time will tell what exactly pans out against Bangladesh on the 20th.

Speeds and Performances of Pacers and Spinners

It is clear Harshit is not a PP/new ball bowler, he is the enforcer. We saw that in the ODI, but he can develop this skill to swing the ball over time. Till Shami retires, him or Siraj will work the Powerplay/new ball along with Arshdeep. However, I’m excited to see what Umran Malik also brings to the table this year. I also believe Nitish Kumar Reddy when fit can be an amazing PP swing bowler, and in Tests and ODIs he can take the new ball in SENA. Hardik is a great batsman but his bowling doesn’t have bite anymore and I’m not sure in which overs lie his strength. Other swing-bowling allrounders include Arshad Khan, who bowls quick left arm but seems to keep getting injured for MP. TLDR; it’s exciting to see how India uses its pace reserves this year in SENA. -
It has been tried for physical sports, @vvvslaxman however it is clear why it may be faulty. One cannot decipher whether a change in heart rate is due to physical exhaustion or mental pressure. If I’m wrong, I’d love to learn more about how this works.
