First of all ball tracking and speed gun are two different things, so I got confused there. I apologise. And yes only the finals have ball tracking and reviews. Ball tracking and reviews come hand in hand in broadcasting terms, it seems.
-
What are you even implying, that because the head coach or A coach changed the ball tracking system changed? Have you got yourself checked? Did you not see the Duleep Trophy and Irani Trophy this year which clearly had ball tracking?

Arshad is prone to injury, but with his ability he should be training at the COE for Indian colours. He just got the beat figures of all time in SMAT: 6-9.

Would love to see a Rahane comback to NT at No. 3. Such sublime technique and temperament, Sai can be his understudy.

So mean wtf. Even Sachin was short, but he was a great. So Abhimanyu can’t get a place in the team if he’s short or what? Or maybe, fitness and runs instead? Have you seen Abhimanyu play to call him strokeless? Like in Duleep Trophy last year where he was one of if not the highest scorers.

Fantastic display of spin. KK and Saransh Jain bowled well. Looking forward to Day 2. Let’s not forget this is 5 days, so the battle is not over for the South.

He's injured, and I think they are cautious with Rutu's elbow injury so he's not picked as well for that reason. Fair squad to be honest.

Asia cup Squad announced for India - Gill returns as VC
Chamsi replied to Austin 3:!6's topic in Cricket Talk
So people here think Shubman should replace Sanju at the opening spot. At the same think that Jitesh is not international quality player. At the same time Tilak Verma should be there. Please reconcile this contradiction. Edit: Shove the centuries in their ass…f*cking flat pitches -

I dont know if its something personal, but I don’t like Tilak Varma. There’s something about him that gives me neg vibes, very quota player types. Anyways Samson is doing well, has scored 3 centuries recently, has the backing of the team management. I don’t see why he should or could be dropped for a black sheep Jitesh Sharma. They probably won’t want the Justice gang to come out again. So why shouldn’t both Gill and Samson play? Why shouldn’t Gill replace Tilak Varma at No 3? Even Samson can drop down to No. 3, where he plays for RR often. I don’t see why India can’t bench Jitesh and Tilak for the sake of continuity. And finally, keep Rinku Songh at No. 8 or whatever. Gill, Sharma, Samson, SKY, Hardik, Axar, Dube, Rinku, Varun, Arshdeep, Bumrah. What’s wrong with this XI? It’s the most obvious choice. -
No team playing in England has ever played short of 4 seamers, there is not even precedent. What incentive do they have to do such a thing; they tried 3+2 the one time and it failed miserably in the WTC 2021 final. 4+2 is arguably the best. If you do 3 + 2, you are one seamer short. If you do 4+1 you leave out the off-spinner like you did to Ashwin, which lo and behold failed in our second attempt at the WTC in 2023! Now would you really play 3 spinners in England, since most people want them to play Kuldeep? Would they really go 3+3 instead of 4+2? Will they really play 3 spinners and 3 pacers instead of 4 pacers and 2 spinners (Jaddu and Washi).
-
The point is which 4 seamers will they play? Will they stick with Shardul and Kamboj or not? Will go with Arshdeep and Akashdeep or Siraj and Prasidh? Interesting times in Indian bowling.

KL Jaiswal Karun Gill Pant Jadeja Sundar Kamboj Thakur Siraj Bumrah

Prasidh, Bumrah, Siraj, Akashdeep Terminator

It's either this or Bumrah in for Washy. I don't know what these other dudes are smoking.

Talking only about an England tour squad (on English pitches, or at least given the current state of our Indian squad), at No. 8: Good fast (express) bowling > (in importance) than batting ability. What Harshit provides with the bat at No. 8, along with express pace, is a bonus.
-
We are short a fast bowler in this series to play a 4-man pace attack. We can do that only if Bumrah plays. It’ll be good to see Bumrah in for Washie next because I’d love to all of them bowl at full speed at express pace.

Chamsi replied to express bowling's topic in Cricket Talk
Where are our fast bowlers? Where are India’s express trains? Where is Rana, Deshpande, Malik, Shami, Sen, and Simarjeet Singh? Maybe Thakur, Yudhvir Singh, and Vyshak? Kamboj isn’t fast but he is hella accurate. Try him as a L&L bowler? -
Nobody is talking about how they are playing only 3 pure fast bowlers, when wickets in England combined with the bowling inexperience forces us to have 4 quicks. We have the ability to make a strong batting tail with only fast bowlers, using Harshit, Akashdeep, and maybe Siraj and Bumrah’s growing batting abilities. The promise to take 20 wickets must come to fruition through a stacked bowling attack, the team cannot just keep stack batting.

Yashasvi Jaiswal – LHB, Opener KL Rahul – RHB, Opener Sai Sudharsan – LHB, No. 3 (retained for left-right balance despite low score) Shubman Gill (c) – RHB, No. 4 Rishabh Pant (wk) – LHB, No. 5 Nitish Kumar Reddy – RHB, RMF, No. 6 (batting allrounder adds balance) Ravindra Jadeja – LHB, SLA, No. 7 (spin + experience) Arshdeep Singh – LAMF (Test debut, swing bowler, left-arm angle) Mohammed Siraj – RF Kuldeep Yadav – Chinaman (adds variation + bats better than Prasidh) Akash Deep – RMF (hard lengths, known quantity) Assuming Bumrah rests the next match

Support through thick and thin? My relationship with ICT and India is not = couple's relationship. Politicians should understand this. Our love for this team is based on emotions and is very conditional and contingent on performance. Should be, if it is not already. And @rangeelaraja and @maniac should really ponder on Rohit's gargantuous belly. Maybe look at a few videos of CWC 2019 to notice the difference.

When I saw him celebrating, I even my first thought was that, "wait, is it okay for him to run like that in the middle of the pitch." Though, it was a minor thought and i was very happy for Jaddu. But my doubt did not come from a place of bias or prejudice. I suppose the commentators thought of it in a similar way, and if I'm being honest, I did not even read through your entire rant; it is quite baseless from the get-go.
-
Sachin and Jalaj were rotating the strike often. Maybe not often enough. But after they fell the runs became less.

You can put it that way, or you can say Kerala is fighting tooth and nail, not willing to give an inch to Vidarbha.
