Gill's a liability even today. He must be kicked out of the team

"Poster boy" Shubman Gill, a marketing Liability in Disguise Shubman Gill. The BCCI's carefully constructed "Prince" is a caricature, a symbol of misplaced ambition and manufactured hype. A player who consistently fails other than against minnows and comfortable conditions Gill's batting and temparment is frustrating. His continued presence in the team is a testament to the BCCI's obsession with creating marketable stars, rather than selecting players based on merit and performance. His record in SENA countries is abysmal, with an average hovering around 17 in the last four years. His failures, however, are conveniently hidden under the shadows of "seniors" Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, allowing him to escape genuine scrutiny. The time for excuses is over. Gill is a liability to the team, occupying a crucial batting slot that could be better utilized by a player with genuine temperament, consistency, and a hunger to succeed. The BCCI, blinded by their own manufactured image, continues to cling to the "Prince." It's time for a dose of reality. Gill must be dropped from all formats- Lack of temparment and never a fighter. The Indian team deserves better.

Shubman gill should not be part of the team in the first place with his dismal average. He is just another poster boy version of KL Rahul. Anyway good for India that someone to replace him other than KL Rahul

Avesh has made reasonable money for his rest of life. He's happy bowling 125 k and earning a few more bucks from IPL. There's no hunger or intent to play for the country. He will not even play for an Australian C grade team with his stats. Averages 35 in 26 tests. He should not be even as a player. 26 tests is a long career. He is another KL Rahul. Trust me this Indian batting lineup is a template 100 all out side. Batting collapses have been quite frequent in the past few years. It has been always been covered up with some tail /lower order batting. This indian batting set up will suffer an altime embarrassing drubbing in Australia this time. Lack of quality test batesmanship is hurting India badly for sometime now. Time to rethink.
