Last week Saudi Arabia, Egypt, UAE, Bahrain, Jordan cut diplomatic ties with Qatar because of that state's sponsorship of terrorism. And today Trump has escalated the crisis by saying Qatar ‘has been a funder of terrorism at a very high level’ and endorsed the blockade.
