I'm using adblock plus:nervous: havent tried firefox.If someone else with Chrome confirms he has the same problem.I'll do it

Check now if the images are displaying. 2.Try the incognito mode in your chrome browser and see if the image are displaying..If yes..delete all your cookies,cache and history :P Use firefox :dontknow:

Why did your delete your "saved passwords" ? Should have ticked only "Empty cache" and "Delete cookies and other site plug-in data". Google "lastpass" and use them to sync your passwords and "xmarks" for history and bookmarks.

So you will have to re-login into every site you visit now.
