DeXteR
throw Bhajji out...get some other spinner like mishra or piyush...at the moment he's playing crap....even that rookie hauritz was bowling better than bhajji by miles. he needs to be shown exit. Link to comment

urbestfriend
Guys Dhoni will NEVER allow Bhajjit bowler to be dropped.Even if he goes for 8 an over in his next 6 games because Dhoni knows that Bhajji , the batsman is way better than Dhoni , the batsman. Bhajji, the bowler is bonus :giggle: Link to comment
ludhianvi
Harbhajan Singh 10 0 57 1 5.70 NM Hauritz 6 1 12 1 2.00 still the player of the match for India :hehe: It may also mean that Indian batsmen are just living on the reputation that they dominate spin bowling. And also the fielding as well. Just a few thoughts.. although Bhajji has been drifting to the legside a lot - would do well to bowl straighter or -since he cant seem to fix that, why not set a field accordingly. Link to comment

Ludhz, that would mean doing away with bowled, lbw's. He should try around the wicket, Even his doosra would be more effective. Link to comment
satishg
His bowling was pathetic, and thats his main job in the team. A total let down being a senior bowler. Link to comment
Sachinism
How long are we going to go on about how pathetic his bowling is. Seems like the selectors can't see it and they're gonna play him no matter what. I guess his batting performances over the last year are what are keeping him in the side. A first choice spinner bowling like him wouldn't even make it to Bangladesh's team Link to comment
riya
He is worthy as a batsman:dance: Link to comment
The Outsider
It may also mean that Indian batsmen are just living on the reputation that they dominate spin bowling. Mr. Wicket
And all because Harbhajan's figures look like shyte against Hauritz. :hysterical: Link to comment

ludhianvi
LOL! Suddenly' date=' Indian batsmen have started sucking against spin and Aussies have become superb players.[/quote'] Ok, I take that back for the time being.. but Indian batsmen are not as great as they're hyped to be against spin bowling. As for the second statement re: Aussie being superb players of spin - that's an assumption you've implied. But still player of the match :hehe: Some thoughts on the match tonite: Hauritz was brought on in the 20th over right after India had lost Kohli and their 3rd wicket and Dhoni and Gauti were at the crease. They were consolidating and they probably hadnt seen too much of Hauritz coupled with the fact that Dhoni is a slow starter these days. Now lets see when Bhajji was brought on: 12th and 14th over in the powerplays to start off with. I am not saying that Bhajji bowled well but just to compare the stats without some context can give negative impressions. Not to mention the fielding as well - I recall pk doing a poor job in letting a four off Bhajji which should've been stopped. Regarding what he need to improve on: He may be flighting the ball but at times gets punished for short balls that gives ample time to the batsmen. Also, there is some change in his action where he seems to be all over the place and kinda falls to his left - perhaps that's why he's been bowling legside? And all because Harbhajan's figures look like shyte against Hauritz. oh hai Robin (aka sidekick of Batman) :haha: Link to comment
Sooda
14.4 Harbhajan Singh to Hussey, 1 wide, even more quicker, but slips down the leg side 14.3 Harbhajan Singh to Hussey, FOUR, Three in a row. Husseeeyyyyyyyy. It was short in length, quicker, flatter and Hussey unfurls a fine crunchy cut shot Harbhajan goes round the stumps. No slip now 14.2 Harbhajan Singh to Hussey, FOUR, on a length, turns away from Hussey who goes right back to cut it past point. It landed just outside off and spun away further 14.1 Harbhajan Singh to Hussey, FOUR, overpitched outside off stump and Hussey crashes it through the off-side field. Harbhajan to bowl. Slip in place. :hmmm: Link to comment
