The Outsider
After the initial jitters in the first innings on a lively pitch at Perth, this is Sehwag V 2.0. He won't score a triple hundred in this version and probably won't score murderous centuries at run a ball, but he is going to become one of the best batsman over the next 5 years. He is so much more sedate, respects good deliveries, attacks the poor ones. He is playing every innings as the 195 at the MCG when he respected good bowling and attacked poor bowling till that shot off Katich. Good luck, Sehwag!:two_thumbs_up: Link to comment

If he can mincemeat of an Aussie attack in Aus, then God save the rest of the world attacks from him at home. Link to comment
Cricketics
lol OKAY, BTW just Apna Veeru was never out of form.. criticz created thread he never deserved to be on the team.. well first of all, he never deserved to be out of the team considering his test average Link to comment
Anakin
Thanks Veeru for proving me right again Link to comment
DesiChap
The last 8 Test centuries scored by Virender Sehwag have all been big ones, all being over 150. When this man scores, he scores them big! Link to comment
Mr. Wicket
probably won't score murderous centuries at run a ball...respects good deliveries' date=' attacks the poor ones.[/quote'] Sehwag's definition of a poor delivery is more expansive than most batsman. He may not score that fast here, but he'll still deliver blazing hundreds - albeit with more thought and focus - against other teams. The likes of Pakistan and West Indies will not bowl as well as Australia's pacers have. They'll offer up far more poor balls that he'll take even more toll of. I look forward to it.:D Link to comment
Guest HariSampath
That is what I had been saying ALL the time....when Sehwag "failed" in his last few tests before being dropped, his average was 39.50 !! how is that a failure ?? And folks here wanted Akash Chopra and GG to be selected ahead of him based on 200s against Tripura and Arunachal pradesh etc ( those teams prolly dont even have 11 players lol) , Akash Chopra ??????? Pleeeaaassee...can anyone of u imagine what might have happened if we have AC opening and batting with Dravid to save a game ? we will be 27-2 in 35 overs by now and still to wipe off lead. Can ANY OPENER in India ( or world) play such hostile bowling by Aus in Aus and counter attack for run a ball 100 under pressure ?? So, that begs the question, what is domestic cricket? what does it indicate and how do we judge players like Sehwag ? Link to comment

talksport
I disagree with release of Sehwag , This has to be Version 3.0 Version 1.0 is his debut at middle order :D Version 2.0 is his Opening avatar. And guys, more good news to come , the new version 4.0 which is already under development has got a doosra as one of the main features. Link to comment
