Tbh, what does Harsha know about cricket. Did you notice he started the video with 'I' think that... 'I' felt that... this bloody narcissist!  Cant stand this loudmouth as* licker!

In England there is a concept of second 11. Those teams play the 3 day, 50 over and T20 format. Those from second 11 also get to play a few matches for senior teams in CC. England had arranged a tour of India in last two years for the youths to give them exposure of spin. 

 

The advantage that Indian players have is that they get into club cricket since very young ages. I have seen 5 years kids at our club, whom we give to play with synthetic balls. Also the weather of India is so perfect due to monsoon being well defined, it allows more cricket to be played. Like we always used to get our nets started at arrival of Dussehra. It's difficult to play as much cricket in some other countries due to inclement weather.

What I also observed was thay some of the Under 14 kids and juniors which we used to coach at our club, had two sessions a day. One in morning and one in the evenings. Just like how kids have a school as well as private tuitions. That concept also exists in cricket. They will have two sessions a day and then the 20 overs, 40 overs and innings matches. The amount of cricket our cricketers play is a lot. Their dedication is just superb. We had a wicket keeper in our Under 14 coaching camp, and he even kept for us in our senior matches of 40 overs. Offcourse their is a difference but then they get to keep against better pace bowlers and bounce. Our cricketing system is very strong and better than any other countries in some aspects. I only crib about malpractices in selections in U14, U16 and U19 team selections. A lot needs to be changed in that. The bone marrow test was a joke. And the Sarfraz Khan incident which I cannot forget. Selection of Arjun Tendulkar over a guy who had scored couple of double centuries. That was another that has stuck in my mind.

Exactly...this team has 5-6 players ready for the big leagues...they could have smacked the opposition regardless of the coach...but that’s a controversial statement to make.
