The sole point of tournaments like CT is to generate money for ICC member countries. No broadcaster would bid if it's held in US considering the match timings would be midnight .

US will actually get good crowds considering the population. Only problem is that we don’t have too many grounds at this time.

But I ccan bet you the croweds will be packed if the the game is hosted in USA/Canada together in future like in futuee.

Don't really matter how much crowd is packed .Ground revenues are minute ,it's the TV revenue that's the big share of revenue .And the timing of matches in US is awful for Indian audience

Yes, unless its a t20 world cup where the games can be played in the morning, USA is hard to have as a host in terms of time.

But you have to remember West Indies hosted world cup in 2007 too and even though it was pathetic, they will most likely get to host something big again, may be not anytime soon but surely will down the line, and we are in the same or similar time zone, so it can still happen.

The t20 world cup tn 2009 in Windies however was a pretty solid event, not as bad as 2007. So USA/Canada down the line can have option to host a t20 world cup.
