Rohan495
reminds me a lot of Jawawardene...espcially when he playes those drives with the high elbow Link to comment
King
Reminds me more of Rahul Dravid. His off drives and defense is pretty much a replica of Rahul. I won't be surprised if Rahul Dravid is his idol. Link to comment
Rohan495
This guy needs to be on the test team! Link to comment

Rohan495
He should be included in the squad, doesnt mean he gets a start right away but atleast should be in the squad Link to comment
Cricketics
there are far better playerz in our ranji circuit who deserve a chance in test then rohit sharma @ rohan.. let just rohit continue in odi's for now.. Link to comment
Rohan495
this guy is class...hes gonna be my favorite after Laxman. i can already see it coming Link to comment
ozindian
not bad... i think he has great technique and shot selection...but he needs to mature up and learn to adapt to situations..unless he does that he cant play tests! Link to comment
Desi Cartman
Isn't this what everybody thought about UV few years ago ? I think its too early to say anything Link to comment
Rohan495
Isn't this what everybody thought about UV few years ago ? I think its too early to say anything Yea but the way Rohit plays his game he seems to have a technique better suited for tests compared to Yuvraj who has an attacking tecnique that is more handy in ODI cricket. bunny
The guy has a lot to learn especially playing off the backfoot. Hopefully the coach, zonal coach and the senior players will guide him well. Link to comment
chanakya
Too many shots too soon. He fails at test level for the opposite reason of why Sehwag is such a success at test level. Link to comment
siddhu
too soon.... the guy has just played 5 ODIs let him at least play 75-100 ODIs and maybe 25-30 tests before pronouncing him as India's Jayawardene or India's Kallis... etc Link to comment
Guest HariSampath
Ian Chappell has already said Rohit Sharma will become a player like the Tendulkars, Pontings and Laras, that is a very high compliment from someone like Chappell who doesnt give it that easily, and that too after seeing him play once. fineleg
we shud evaluate after 75-100 odis...then we'll see how well he has stayed and succeeded or not. Kaif fallen by wayside, earlier Kambli was supposed to be great find... Link to comment
The Outsider
If it's between Yuseless and Sharma as a reserve middle order batsman then Sharma is the obvious choice over poster boy. Link to comment
