Travel to UK from US east Coast - WC & Wimbledon

Changed plan.. going with a group of 6 other friends. We plan to see Ind NZ  and ind Pak. No Wimbledon at that time though :(

First ballot for WC 2019 tickets allotted today.. All me and 5 of my friends got only Ind-BD match tickets. Anyone else got lucky?

Applied for 5 matches and got none. Didn't apply for Ind Vs Ban though

If I had got into Manchester uni I would have definitely gone to Pak vs India but now I am trying for SA vs Australia, India vs Afghanistan and NZ vs Bangladesh. I will be interested in joining Bharat army for Afghanistan game. I will also try to buy ticket for Pak vs Australia but Taunton is too far away

How expensive are the tickets? The last time I checked the cheapest ones were £250 for India vs SA and £500 for India vs Pak.

Add flying costs from SFO to LHR (for me) and overheads in London. Turns out a tad too expensive

 

 The Aus WC tickets were so much cheaper.
