raina is an easy pick, yet he is missing from ur lineup

Coz i knw the correct players so i support them through thick n thin. I dnt giveup on them becoz of few failures

It was a tossup between him and Iyer but they are interchangable.

I do not believe at that level they should be persisted with. Two consecutive failures with the bat should get you the bench.

What is there to delve and sort out? Pandya averages 40 with 117 SR against the strong bowling attacks of Aus, Eng, Pak, SA and NZ. Where's the padding of stats?

So, from "nothing to show for" to "padded stats against weaker teams" to "failed against SA". Okay.

He failed to score in SA. How is that difficult. Once again I cannot go inning by inning and sort his numbers to show your follies. I have a life.

Can't list a XI in a few minutes? How long does it take, an hour?

Asking for the third time .. Why does England need Ben Stokes? For batting or bowling or both?

You need to ask that question from someone who gives a frick about England. I don't.

If cricket is such a specialist sport now, wonder why no's 7-11 bat at all.

Wonder why IPL pays big bucks to the likes of Ben Stokes, Andre Russell, Dwayne Bravo, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, Shane Watson etc.

How about wicket keepers? Are they specialists?

This is exhibit no 1464984568296 for someone deserves a Darwin award.

7-11 can contribute runs but their main purpose is to bowl.

Wicketkeepers need to keep and contribute with bat decently.

He scored against Aus, Eng, Pak, NZ. How is that difficult to understand?

Typical reaction when you can't back up factually incorrect statements. May be stop making them if you 'don't have time' or if you 'have a life'.

So now it's not about time it takes to list a XI but about not giving a frick about England.

Okay.

You can rant all day but cannot answer a single question. Not surprised.

Dhoni, Karthik, Pant, Buttler, DeKock, Bairstow contribute massively with the bat. Guess they are not proper keepers.

I am not your stats teacher.

Let me ask you at top level how many hours can an athlete practise?

Don't flatter yourself.

You keep harping on about how the stats are not done right. Back it up with how they should be done or stop saying it.

by that logic every great batsman career wud have been over within 1-2 series

Sachin 241* came after failures in 6 innings

Dhawan Wc 2015 brilliant perfomance came after a very bad series

yuvraj singh didnt have a gr8 series before wc 2011,

Yuvraj singh flopped in 1st 2-3 games in 2007 t20 wc so acc to u he wud have been dropped

N i can go on n on with these xamples

Thats why these crappy theories dnt work in cricket. If ur theories were been india wudnt have won 2007 or 2011 wc

Unnecessary absolutely unnecessary!! heat which pandya gets here on this forum is unnecessary!! I see this thread has been dragged to 5 pages , how many all rounders  in India can bowl upto 145kph and strike it above 200?? Heck show me at least one batsman in that Indian line who can hit six on the first ball he faces??

It's clear who isn't answering simple straight forward questions.

Not surprised.

Anyway, what was your question(s), that I haven't answered ?

Someone who brags non stop about comprehension should know what the question is.

No one deserves 6 chances. Sachin included. benching does not mean that you are kicked out of the team, all it means is you are sitting out the next game. Repeated failure means you go play Ranji.
