Why have we become oblivious to the need of having some tall and tallish pacers in the team these days

Our search for tall pacers have started and ended with Ishant in the last 8 years.

Ishant's failure is partly due to lack of fast bowling coach

For a rich board like BCCI ,they can afford having a proper fast bowling coach

Arun is another yes man who hardly gives a damn to anything but yes he has contibuted in ruining Umesh's action and natural pace

A Jason Gillespie, McDermott would have been ideal

Selection committee is led by Bambi Mafia lobby and as @Vilander said most BML is short - tendy, Gavaskar, manjreakar, Ramesh powar etc so due to inferiority complex they pick only short players
