EXCLUSIVE: AUSTRALIA has been left in a spin-bowling crisis with the shock retirement of Brad Hogg from international cricket. Hogg will announce his retirement at a press conference in Melbourne later this afternoon. The 37-year-old left-arm spinner told senior Cricket Australia officials of his decision at the Allan Border Medal last night.. Hogg played seven Test matches and 121 one-day games for Australia. He will finish after the finals of the Commonwealth Bank series, starting in Sydney on Sunday. Australia is now left without a recognised Test spin bowler because of doubts over Stuart MacGill's comeback from hand surgery late last year.
