1997(or 98, don't remember exactly) India was playing SL, who were in beast mode back then. India batted first and promoted Robin Singh to #3. He scored a century and then the game got rained out without SL batting at all.                        2011 - India vs WI ODI series. India were chasing and kept losing wickets, ending up in a near hopeless situation. Umesh Yadav and Varun Aaron had a nice partnership to get us tbe win. In that same series, Manoj Tiwari scored a century but after that, he didn't play for India for quite a spell.

Sri Lanka actually batted and got off to a flying start.  I remember the SL score was something around 80 in 8 overs , then Jayasuriya was dismissed leading to a collapse only for the match to get washed out in the end.

Thanks for the scorecard! It was 20 years ago,  so what I mostly remember is the century and being unhappy that a winnable opportunity was lost. Those days the SL team with Jayasuriya and De Silva was a formidable opponent.  Looking at the scorecard, Singh also got 3 wickets. A century, wickets, but still no win. Luck was with the Lankans at that time!
