Your assessment is correct, your prescription is wrong. Left (read: dhimmified commies) dominated the conversation. It still does. To appeal to entire spectrum of the electorate, they started calling themselves neutral. Propagated the canard so much that they started believing the lie. Right (read: Non-Dhimmies) finally got a whisper of a voice in the discourse post arrival of Social media. But because the Dhimmified commie establishment considered itself neutral, just the mere presence of a few Non-dhimmi voices, appeared to them as the ascendancy of Non-Dhimmis. Its not.
