Ranvir Posted February 28, 2019 Posted February 28, 2019 What good will capturing POK do for India? Having more muslims in your land that don't want to be with you and hate your guts. This is not Crimea where most of the locals wanted to be taken over by Russia, in fact it's the complete opposite, it seems like the Indian Kashmiris want independence or to join their coreligionists in Pakistan. If India is going to mount a major offensive then the best thing is to do is to target Pakistani military bases and to run a war that will ruin Pakistan's economy.
mishra Posted February 28, 2019 Posted February 28, 2019 Limited war in Kashmir will only decisively winnable with least casualty can happen when we have S-400. Right now, they are free to use air power

Things will change
zen Posted February 28, 2019 Author Posted February 28, 2019 Two Pakistani jets violted the Indian air space again but were chased back into Pakistan by the IAF. The aircrafts entered the Mendhar sector of Jammu and Kashmir. Earlier today, Pakistani troops violated ceasefire in Krishna Ghati of the Poonch district. The 20th ceasefire violation in three days, it lasted for around an hour. After there were further ceasefire violations in the Jammu region, a meeting between the Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and three Service Chiefs was held. In the meeting, the Army, Air Force and Navy chiefs discussed counter measures with Sitharaman. Soon after the air space violation, Chaudhry Fawad Hussain, Pakistan Minister for Information and Broadcasting stated that in times like these, it is very important to not let extremism win. He laid emphasis on how the world at large will suffer the after-effects of the conflict, including the two nations. He added that the countries should work in alliance with each other to reach a workable solution. The news agency, ANI tweeted a picture of a downed Pakistani Air Force jet which was brought down by the IAF. The same picture, however, was doing the rounds on social media alleging that it was a Indian Air Force MiG fighter. Various IAF sources later confirmed that the aircraft in the picture belongs to Pakistan. After the growing tension among the two countries, Pakistan announced that they had suspended the services of the Samjhauta Express which runs from Delhi to Lahore. However, yesterday, Piyush Goyal, the Union Railway Minister had announced the contrary. The services of the Samjhauta Express are to remain suspended until further notice
