IndianRenegade
Yeah, we won Australia in big finals, and we had no DADA, no wall, and our bowling attack was at best 2nd string. But thats only half the job. We all know Aussies get spurred by defeats given the high standards they set for themselves. Now 2 defeats in a row against SL & India should have given enough reasons for the Aussies to come out all guns blazing at Brisbane. India are already on the back foot given Ishant is injured. Our bowling line up looks so dismal without him. So its time we leave euphoria of super duper Sunday and concentrate on the game at Brisbane. Its all the more important that the Indian team realizes this. I hope they do given the muted celebrations at the SCG. Good Luck Team India!:two_thumbs_up: Link to comment
MattyG
India can look forward with great anticipation, Sharm will be as good as attack bowler going around i the next ten or so years. The only reason I don't like him is because he will knock over heaps of aussie wickets... Link to comment

The Outsider
Yeah, it was a nice win but it's not a one off final scenario and India need to win one of the remaining two matches. I think our best chance is in the next game when we have the Australians down and there is going to be most likely a lively track on offer at Brisbane. Now if Dhoni can win a toss, so that our bowlers get to bowl under the lights at the Gabba with a 250 run score to defend, we should be through. Link to comment
IndianRenegade
But the biggest worry seems to be Ishant's injury without him our bowling attack doesn't look penetrative, given Sree inconsistent run. Someone needs to put a hand up and join the party.... Geez we seemed to have a pretty stable bowling line up, until this happened to Ishant..... :giggle: Link to comment

If Tendulkar can get another 100, we'll end up getting atleast 270. Take one of the two openers early, and two of Symonds, Ponting, and Clarke and we'll do just fine. One more time Sachin. flamy
I think we should expect something from Yuvraj now. Sachin put his hand up already. It should be a team effort. Link to comment
Mr. Wicket
240 batting first at Briz should be fine even. Australia can't handle swing and the amount that's usually on offer under lights at the Gabba should KO them. Link to comment
Guest whineleg
guyz you are already getting carried away... this was ONE century by SRT in 16 yearz of playing odiz in Auz. More likely we will watch the yengsterz fail and SRT will wait another 16 yearz to get another. Just Hope Auz don't make 275+ and bat first to let the chokerz embarrass themselvez... Link to comment
