Turning_track Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 6 NLI was the paltan which was deployed in the area from where Captain Saurabh Kalia and 5 other jawans of 4 Jat regiment went missing. Incidentally, 6 NLI lost 150 odd men in an avalanche at Gyari a few years ago.
Number Posted May 16, 2019 Posted May 16, 2019 (edited) Capt. Kalia and his team members went in that sector to find out how many intruders were present in that area. At that time we had absolutely zlich idea of the scale of intrusion that had happened. Pakistanis had captured 200+ posts and had made bunkers by that time.
