mani sha Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 Rahul sharma kohli no 4 pandya dhoni no 7 kumar/shami bumrah kuldeep chahal going forward it looks like india definitely will need to give all its players a game or two as its a longgg World Cup and different pitches seem to play differently our three major opponents are english aussies black caps pending matches afghan is the lightest opponent West Indies and Bangla bros are unpredictable black caps will likely be seen again in semis who is best suited for no 4 and no 7 ? feel pant at no 4 will be a boon to Pandya and dhoni . No 7 Jadhav or Shankar is ok . Karthick though needs to get a game at least against his fav bang bros as our replacements and bench strength needs to be in playing form last - ishant 2 should be flown in . It’s a long World Cup and lambu is our best bet for a replacement given the spate of injuries

Sometimes his side spin can be awkward for first timers. Shankar may not be a good idea against SENA countries who all have stand deliver batsmen. Dhoni, Pant/DK, Pandya, Jadhav - in no specific order. 3 righties 1 lefty.

Yes, we need to play Jadhav not VS against SENA but in our build up to the SFs must include Pant/DK in the scheme of things With Dhawan gone we seriously lack the fire power to deliver in later stages of the innings and these guys need some game time to get into the groove and Kohli won't play them straightway in a ko game, i don't want kohli to put that excuse,so he has to take the punt against Afg,Sl and BD(atleast)
