express bowling
Among the young Indian quick bowlers, Mavi and Prasidh have the widest range of skills in my opinion. This is because both combine pace, bounce, big swing and ability to extract life out of pitches. Mavi -- -- Genuine pace. Looks quick even in 4 day games. -- Gets steep bounce for a short bowler. Has this uncanny ability to get the ball to rear up sharply from just short of a length. And this surprises batters a lot. -- Has a big inswinger. Not a marginal one. And for such bowlers, even the straight ball acts like an outswinger. He uses this too. -- Can seam the ball ... can hit the deck hard for bounce and seam movement and extracts life out of the pitch Prasidh -- -- Has genuine pace in limited over matches. But slows down a bit in 4 day matches. ( Needs to play full FC season this time ) -- Very tall bowler with very high arm action ... gets steep bounce. Even his good length balls hit high on the bat. -- Has a natural outswinger which he bowls at good pace. -- Seams the ball in sharply. -- Can hit the deck hard for bounce and seam movement. Extracts life out of the pitch. Now, they are not finished products yet. If we can develop these 2 young fast bowlers with care ... let them play full FC seasons ... train them to sustain speeds over 5 days ... Then we can have 2 very good all condition fast bowlers. But I don't think MSK Prasad has any clue about the two existing in our domestic cricket Damn how long will the initials MS screw our cricket? express bowling 1 Link to comment
Mirpur express
Nagarkoti, Mavi, Avesh Khan, Navdeep are also very fast. Indian future in fast bowling is bright. A better prospect as compared to Hasnain is Naseem Shah who has ability to move the ball inwards as it's natural because of his action. Link to comment
