that is what i find it strange players who dhoni dropped under him after trying them like rayudu, dhawan, KKD how did they come back

I think because Dhawan had a relatively good IPL last 2 seasons, they thought he turned the corner, but it looks like fools gold because he has returned to poor performances at international T20s. He is at best an IPL bully right now.

play best XI against Eng, Aus.....coming series are against WI n SL.....youngsters shud get chances there as well. They wont grow if they dnt play tough cricket

They keep saying bye bye to every T20i cup if the format is not taken seriously. The best need to be played and the really rare good ones being given the chance.

Dhawan, Krunal and Khaleel should be discarded.

agree with your choices, I am a big fan of Dhawan but not in this format.

Krunal and Khaleel are newish , so they will get a few more chances than normal. Not really a fan of either of those two. Khaleel is very unlikely to play in the WT20, our pecking order for fast bowlers is Bumrah, Bhuvi, and now Chahar. Pandya jr will be fast bowling allrounder, so really Khaleel is as good as gone imo.

Even dhoni had 2 gr8 ipls

Rahane n manish pandey was good this IPL

His shud be judged on international cricket when he is playing....IPL logic can be used for new guys who havent been tested and we need some sample

Who should be tried instead though? Gill  for one. I would like to see Nitish Rana and Surya Kumar Yadav given a long runs, reward for their IPL form but not everyone is a fan

Ill try SKY for sure

Rana has bouncer issues so i feel he ll struggle in australia. Nyways SMA is on so both have their chances till next selection happens

Let's not get complacent by winning against a Bangladesh team without Tamim and Shakib. Then we are also playing at our home. Also, Bangladesh managed to win 1 match. Our team did not score 200 in even one match against these below park opponent bowling attack.  There are better T20i teams in world tourneys and hence we have not won any T20i since 2007. Play the best 11 until we win something significant. Over confidence is not good for a underperforming team at world level tournament.

No need to rest star players. Play best 11 always.

Is there any points being awarded for these bilateral matches to find the world T20 champion ???

Please re think should this be the strategy ?

Are ENG , NZ  are fools to rest their stars and play new guys ?
