Did you pilot that mini-plane? That ladder bridge you used to cross the crevasse doesn't look sturdy at all. Looking at that pic makes me dizzy. Stay safe. I did not pilot the plane. And to be honest, I also dare not - I'd leave the piloting of that aircraft to the Top Gun pilots of Nepal. That airport is very dangerous for the following reasons: The runway itself is very short At the end of the runway is a solid brick wall - If you are going to land, you need to commit to it. You can't hesitate at any moment. There is constant low lying cloud cover - Navigating in such cloud cover mountainous terrain, pwhoaaaaar, that truly takes some mettle. Regarding that ladder bridge, that really was the only way to cross the crevasse. Some crevasses, you cant just fly over. For instance, in the below pic (Not in the Himalayas but I took this picture when flying over a glacier in a different mountain range). The crevasses are the horizontal cuts in the ice in the bottom right half of the screen. Edited May 16, 2020 by EnterTheVoid
