Manny_Pacquiao
Could an anglosphere XI compete with a world XI? assuming its 20 overs a side, like in the IPL. Anglosphere XI - england, australia, new zealand. vs World XI - everywhere else World XI: Kohli Rahul Azam Rohit capt Pant+ Russell Rashid Khan Aamir Rabada Bumrah Chahal Anglo XI Buttler+ Warner Williamson capt Smith Bairstow Stokes Curran Zampa Starcc Cummins Archer Who would win? It looks like a high scoring game, 220 par score Link to comment
Ankit_sharma03
World XI - India, SA, SL, Pak, WI RahuL Rohit Sharma (capT) Kohli Nicholas pooran (wk) Hardik Pandya MOhD Nabi Andre Russell Rashid khan Bumrah Rabadaa Yuzi Anglosphere XI Warner Bairstrow Williamson Morgon Stokes Butler Maxwell Archer Starc Zampa Boult I find these XI better, dont see the point of Smith n babar when u already have players at top who can bat throughout and are very consistent at the end its just a 20 over game So Acc to me World Xi will win Rohit kohli Rahul have played starc pretty well Rahul has destroyed Archer Yuzi has had a number on Maxwell Stokes hasnt been great in t20i neither in IPL apart from 1 good season Rashid khan is far ahead of Zampa Pandya, russell, pooran, rashid, nabi is very good lower order to have in t20 Edited May 17, 2020 by Ankit_sharma03 Link to comment
zen
Anglo will win esp. if teams are selected from current players and in batting friendly conditions .... Rest has a chance if WI big hitters are in prime form. Batting has excellent options with Warner, Bairstow, Morgan, Smith, Buttler, Stokes, Maxwell, Labuschagne, Roy, Mooen, etc., while bowling has firepower in Starc, Cummins, Archer, and Boult. Likes of Jamieson can be handy with both the bat and ball. Link to comment

By that logic even stokes hasnt been good beyond 1 ipl, bairstrow not a middle order option. May be indian pitches dont suit maxwell but he is the kind of player u need in t20 . Its a short game u need players who can max of it and have multiple skills as well. They need firepower in lower middle order Link to comment

Stokes is good in international, but yeah...that was more of a 'potential' pick. We know he's a good all-rounder though. Maxwell is mediocre. Can't blame the pitches when everyone else is scoring on them. Link to comment

Coz of 4 foreign player policy , even williamson wud for SRH in many games due to team combination But NAbi is excellent as he is a very good lower order batsman and offie who is very very tight when it comes to economy and he bowls in PP His eco in ipl is 6.62 and s/r almost 149.....ill have such package anyday Quote Stokes is good in international, but yeah...that was more of a 'potential' pick. We know he's a good all-rounder though. Stokes record in Int t20 is **** 17 avg , 134 s/r Quote Maxwell is mediocre. Can't blame the pitches when everyone else is scoring on them. He has been inconsistent but u need players like him avg of 35 and s/r of 160 ...far better then stokes Edited May 29, 2020 by Ankit_sharma03 Link to comment

I'm probably being unfair to maxwell, because he was such a failure for my favorite team: delhi. Typical over-paid australian choot. Link to comment
Manny_Pacquiao
I just realized, theres no sri lankans or bangladeshis in the world XI. are they really that bad? mustafizur could probably get in. Sri lankan cricket is completely off the radar now. Link to comment
